Booties!

Oh, the week has just start, and so many things need to get done...!
Any who...I have been slacking on posting due to busy period in time, never the less; I will get back on board and continue updating every other day.
So, the chills are finally here, the winter coats are out, and the task begins into mastering the art of layering. The most important objective is to layer cleverly enough so that you don't end up looking like an Eskimo!
In this post I will include some boot examples that could be interpreted into any wardrobe to update any look.

A FRIDAY

A strangely lovely Friday! Today was the Grazia’s “Glad Rag event” in Kensington, to which I had the opportunity to attend! All of the best things were snapped up by the eager shopaholics; who happened to arrive there before moi. But never mind, I still managed to pick up some lovely goodies, which I will post in a separate post tomorrow. Although I was gutted to see the Mulberry ‘Bayswater’ go… I was looking forward to acquiring one… There will always be a next time.

Any who, I did get up early to arrive before the start. I wore my favourite new skirt purchased for Reiss teamed with a chunky light pink jumper (also from Reiss). Underneath I wore a plain crisp white shirt and a Grecian style necklace. As the rain had visited London in the morning, I wore this gorgeous leather trimmed trench coat from Topshop. Finally to wrap up the outfit, I took my white CHANEL bag and some black heeled booties.

Have a lovely Week end all!
XOXO

On the Bright side!

Truly beautiful scenery is on display everywhere.
The autumn is very inspiring to dress up. Today I decided to wear this gorgeous burnt orange colour knit dress from H&M. I had purchased it a year ago, and see that happens; the colour is very this season and bang on trend! I had paired it with this lovely pea coat (also from H&M which was purchased like 3 years ago…!) which is in this pretty Aztec print with orange and silver accents to match. I love fashion that is timeless or the clothes that will always look trendy no matter what season it is… it gives me a reason to invest in something that I know I will wear a lot, plus a sneaky way to treat myself to something luxurious…Like this favourite pair of tan leather boots! I think that every girl/woman/fashion fanatic should own a pair of simple tan boots, because let’s face it: they go with almost anything and have been around for years (and probably will be around in the future too, unless we are invaded with aliens and are made in to human robots that lack emotion, feeling and fashion sense etc.)
Any who, I had a lovely Sunday off, which I used to spend time enjoying watching the leaves fall, exploring the park, and then cosying up with a hot mint tea and a nice film (Midnight in Paris) which was oh so fantastic… a lovely Sunday before going back to college after a half term...!

Have a lovely week everyone!

Ohh Stella!

I just wanted to share some of my recent inpirations: Stella McCartneys Fall 2011/12 collection;
I absolutley love her designs, they are so chic! The colour sheem of black/white/cream/navy are so simple and at the same time so timeless!
This collection is all about the siluette: oversised knitware, manly suits and plain fitting. It is a collection to invest in and wear all year round. Stella's designs are very fashion farward and at the same time classic. She always manages to keep that "Steall woman" classiness, and even though this collection is made up of masculin shapes, she kept that femenin vibe and gracefullness in her designs.

Here are some of my faves for you to look at! :

Dotty chills!

As usual my park obsession has never left me. Still enjoying the last of the sunny spells, I took a walk in Hyde Park; observing people, leaves turning golden and sunset. It truly fascinates me how well the nature had been thought out. While in the spring we get to celebrate the blossoms of the woken up nature, in summer were filled with beautiful greenery and colourful nature paintings. And still by the autumn, we are left with golden hues of the falling leaves. It’s amazing!

My outfit choice was quite simple, consisting of a polka dotted skater dress, and a tan leather belt cinching in the waist. I love skater dresses and high waisted skirts as they do work miracles, they are flattering for any body shape, giving curves for those who are less curvy, and skim curves for the more curvy.

Simplicity

A particularly lovely Saturday’s day! It was quite sunny, even though the wind had its chills at times.

My day consisted of an explorative walk down at Kensington gardens, from which then I enjoyed a relaxing stop at Costa with a Vanilla Late and some yummy Cappuccino chocolates.

I decided to wear a simple outfit made out neutral colours and to mix it up- I chose to wear a bright yellow leather bag. I truly love this blouse; it’s so flattering with a beautiful neck line lace detail. I also decided to wear my favourite knee high brown leather boots; I think they add a classic touch and break up the mono tone.
